The popularity of internet fraudulence among the Nigerian youths has attained a status in which it should be officially recognized as a pandemic.  Despite the spirited efforts of the Economic and Financial Crime Commission and its sister agencies to curb the rate at which Nigerians are regrettably venturing into Internet Fraudulence, its appears that a lot of Nigerians especially the youths, see no wrong in the wrong act of swindling people on the internet.

A review of the cyber crime Act of the Federal Republic of Nigeria is necessary to ensure that internet criminals when convicted are given a deterring sentence other than what is currently obtained at the moment.
