Coventry South MP Zarah Sultana has accused Your Party, the new left-wing movement she co-founded with Jeremy Corbyn, of being run as a “sexist boys’ club.” She claims she has been sidelined from key decision-making roles and denied control over party finances.
The dispute erupted after Sultana launched a membership portal that raised £20,000 within hours. Corbyn swiftly denounced the move as “unauthorised,” urging supporters to cancel their payments and threatening legal action. He maintains that formal membership will open later this month, ahead of a planned founding conference in November.

Sultana, however, insists that her initiative reflects demands for grassroots involvement and transparency, while critics within the party accuse her of acting unilaterally.
The row has exposed deep divisions at the top of Your Party, fueling criticism that its male-dominated leadership excludes women and undermines its democratic credentials.
The fallout has cast doubt on the party’s ability to maintain unity, raising broader questions about whether it can present itself as a credible political force amid growing public scrutiny.
