(In Uganda) BBC Documentary Exposes Man in Alleged Dubai Sex-Trafficking Ring

Abbey Mwesigwa, a Ugandan man based in Dubai and former London bus driver, has been accused of masterminding a sex-trafficking network targeting Ugandan women in the United Arab Emirates. A joint BBC Eye and World of Secrets documentary, Death in Dubai: Dubai PortaPotty, alleges that Mwesigwa lured women with fake job offers, trapping them in debt bondage and subjecting them to degrading acts for wealthy clients.
