The Happie Boys, who rose to fame in 2021 after a viral video showed them dancing while on duty as security guards, have publicly returned to the Omega Power Ministries (OPM) church to seek forgiveness from Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere. The reconciliation took place on September 14, 2025, in Port Harcourt.

Their story took a dramatic turn after Apostle Chibuzor awarded them scholarships to study in Cyprus, transforming their lives overnight. However, financial struggles abroad led to a bitter fallout. The duo accused the pastor of abandonment, launching public attacks that strained their relationship.

Following their deportation to Nigeria, the Happie Boys admitted they had been misled by Daniel Ochu, a self-styled U.S. doctor, and his associate Mesadiah, who promised them relocation to America. Accompanied by their parents, they expressed remorse and pleaded for mercy.

Apostle Chibuzor, known for his philanthropic outreach, declared that he had forgiven them, telling the boys to “go and prosper.” Their return has drawn mixed reactions, with some praising the reconciliation as a lesson in humility and forgiveness, while others view it as a reminder of the challenges of fame and misplaced trust.
