The aspirant emphasised that he intends to fund his campaign through donations from ordinary Kenyans and support from friends, rejecting the notion that only questionable sources of wealth can sustain a serious political bid. He underscored his commitment to transparency, declaring that he will not accept funds from dubious backers.

Kigame urged citizens to embrace the idea of collectively financing an alternative candidate’s campaign, citing global examples such as former U.S. President Barack Obama’s grassroots fundraising model.

His remarks have sparked discussion about the role of money, integrity, and public participation in Kenya’s political landscape.
