Four Arrested After Trump and Epstein Images Projected on Windsor Castle

 

Four men have been arrested after images of Donald Trump and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein were projected onto Windsor Castle on Tuesday evening.

Thames Valley Police confirmed the arrests, saying they were made on suspicion of malicious communications. Those detained include a 60 year old from East Sussex, a 36 year old and a 50 year old from London, and a 37 year old from Kent.

The projection took place as the US president arrived in the UK for a state visit. Officers intervened quickly to stop the stunt, and the individuals remain in custody while investigations continue.

On Wednesday morning, a van with a large screen displaying an image of Trump and Epstein with the caption “Welcome to the UK, Donald” was spotted in Windsor, drawing further attention to the issue.

Trump is scheduled to meet King Charles during the visit. The president was once socially linked to Epstein in the 1990s and early 2000s but has never faced official accusations of wrongdoing.

Donald Trump’s state visit to the UK is taking place under heavy security and public scrutiny.

The Metropolitan Police confirmed that more than 1,600 officers are being deployed in central London ahead of protests planned by the Stop Trump Coalition. Demonstrators also began gathering in Windsor on Wednesday morning, while police prepared for further unrest as the president’s engagements continue.

Trump and First Lady Melania will attend several high profile events. These include lunch with members of the Royal Family, a visit to Queen Elizabeth II’s tomb, and a formal state banquet hosted at Windsor Castle.

The visit also follows political tension in Britain. The prime minister recently dismissed Lord Peter Mandelson from his position as UK ambassador to the United States because of his past relationship with Epstein.
