From boxing rings to Olympic tracks, some stars went from prison cells back to the spotlight.

Here are 8 athletes who made comebacks after serving time


Mike Tyson (Boxing)

Convicted in 1992, served 3 years for rape.

Released in 1995, reclaimed WBC & WBA titles in 1996, fought until 2005.

Michael Vick (NFL)

Sentenced in 2007 to 23 months for running a dogfighting ring (served 18).

Returned with the Eagles in 2009, won Comeback Player of the Year in 2010, played through 2015.


Plaxico Burress (NFL)
