Born Kelley Lynne Klebenow, Mack revealed her diagnosis in January 2025 after experiencing back pain and neurological symptoms in late 2024. Despite the difficult journey, she remained hopeful, sharing updates with fans and expressing deep gratitude for her family, boyfriend, and faith. “This experience has brought me closer to God,” she wrote in an emotional Instagram post.
Mack’s career began in childhood with commercials and evolved into film, voiceover, and producing work. She appeared in season 9 of The Walking Dead (2018–2019), as well as Chicago Med, 9-1-1, and several independent films including 2024’s Mr. Manhattan and Delicate Arch. She had also been promoting the 2025 film Universal before her passing.
Mack’s sister, Kathryn, posted a moving tribute on Instagram, calling her “a bright, fervent light” and praising her for her bravery, especially in her final moments. She shared that Kelley’s presence has already been felt by loved ones “in the form of butterflies,” and added, “She would want you all to know how much she loves you.”
The family remembered Kelley as a warm, vibrant, and deeply creative person whose passion for storytelling began with a childhood gift a mini video camera. Her dedication to her craft and her uplifting spirit touched many in the entertainment industry and beyond.
Kelley Mack is survived by her parents, Kristen and Lindsay Klebenow; siblings Kathryn and Parker; grandparents Lois and Larry Klebenow; and her boyfriend, Logan Lanier. A celebration of her life will be held in Ohio on August 16.
