A WNBA game between the Indiana Fever and Los Angeles Sparks was briefly interrupted Tuesday night when a sex toy was thrown onto the court at http://Crypto.com Arena. The object landed near Fever guard Sophie Cunningham, prompting a short stoppage before Kelsey Plum kicked it aside and play resumed.

Sparks coach Lynne Roberts called the incident “ridiculous” and emphasized player safety. “It’s stupid… and dangerous,” she said post-game. Plum also commended both teams and officials for not letting the prank derail the game.
This marks the third such incident in a week, following similar disruptions at WNBA games in Georgia and Chicago. After the second event, Cunningham had posted on X urging fans to stop: “You’re going to hurt one of us.”
After Tuesday’s repeat offense, she sarcastically posted, “This did NOT age well,” expressing clear frustration that fans hadn’t taken her warning seriously.The WNBA and arena security are expected to face increased pressure to prevent further incidents and protect player safety.
