Neo Maema Departs Mamelodi Sundowns, Set for Surprise Move to Simba SC

Neo Maema, the 29-year-old attacking midfielder, has parted ways with Mamelodi Sundowns after four years at the club. He is expected to join Tanzanian Premier League side Simba SC, where he will reunite with former Masandawana teammate Rushine de Reuck under head coach Fadlu Davids.

Maema began his professional career at Bloemfontein Celtic at age 22, making 60 appearances and scoring three goals before signing a five-year deal with Sundowns in the summer of 2021. His move to Simba SC marks a new chapter in his career.
