Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho has been photographed holding what appears to be a Hayati Pro Ultra vape while at a tattoo parlour, according to the Daily Mail. The 21-year-old, currently out of favour under manager Ruben Amorim, is awaiting confirmation on a potential transfer to Chelsea before the summer window closes. This is not the first vaping-related controversy for the Argentine; a similar incident occurred two years ago when a vape was visible in one of his Instagram stories, though it was denied that it belonged to him.

Chelsea remain interested in the player despite the off-field headlines, and talks over a move are ongoing. Manchester United, who initially valued Garnacho at £70 million, have reportedly dropped their asking price to £50 million to secure a quick deal. The winger’s reduced playing time and reported disciplinary issues have increased the likelihood of an exit
Garnacho made his senior debut for Manchester United in April 2022 and has since made 144 appearances, scoring 26 goals and providing 22 assists. However, his career at Old Trafford has been overshadowed at times by disciplinary problems and concerns over his attitude. Manager Ruben Amorim has advised him to find a new club, suggesting he no longer features in United’s long-term plans.

Chelsea are confident that personal terms will not be an obstacle and believe a deal can be completed before the transfer deadline. The move would represent a fresh start for Garnacho, who, despite his talent, has struggled for consistent minutes this season.
The vaping image has reignited debate over the winger’s professionalism, but sources close to Chelsea say it is unlikely to affect negotiations. With time running out in the window, the next few days will be decisive in determining whether the Argentine winger trades Manchester for Stamford Bridge. For now, Garnacho remains in limbo under scrutiny both on and off the pitch.
