Iñigo Martínez in Talks to Leave Barcelona as Al Nassr Lead Transfer Race

Iñigo Martínez could leave Barcelona immediately, with Saudi Pro League clubs showing strong interest. Talks are underway between the Spanish defender and the club to finalise his exit.

Al Nassr have emerged as frontrunners to secure his signature, according to Matteo Moretto. Barcelona’s decision is driven by an overcrowded defensive line and the need to offload a centre-back.

Although Martínez’s contract runs until 2026, the club is considering letting him go to ease player registration and wage bill concerns. The experienced centre-back has been on Saudi Arabia’s radar before, but this time Al Nassr appear determined to close the deal.

With Ronald Araújo and Andreas Christensen reportedly set to stay, Martínez’s departure could open space and funds for new signings ahead of the season.
