Produced entirely by Daniel James, the album showcases Williams’ multifaceted artistry as she wrote, performed, and recorded multiple instruments herself. Contributions from Brian Robert Jones, Joey Howard, and Jim-E Stack further enrich the sound.

Ahead of the release, Williams unveiled music videos for Ego Death, Glum, and Kill Me, building anticipation among fans.

The polished version of Ego Death has been met with excitement, with physical editions—including vinyl in multiple colors and limited CD-Rs—set to arrive in November. Pre-orders are already live, adding momentum to the release.
