(In the U.S) Fort Stewart Shooting: Army Sergeant Quornelius Radford in Custody After Wounding Five Soldiers


An active-duty Army sergeant, identified as 28-year-old Quornelius Radford, has been taken into custody after opening fire on five of his fellow soldiers at Fort Stewart, a U.S. Army post in Georgia.

The shooting, carried out with Radford’s personal handgun, left all five victims injured. According to Commanding General John Lubas, the wounded soldiers are currently receiving medical treatment and are in stable condition.

Authorities have not yet disclosed a motive for the attack, and an investigation is ongoing.
