(In South Africa) Former Orlando Pirates Striker Tendai Ndoro Passes Away at 40


Zimbabwean footballer and former Orlando Pirates forward Tendai Ndoro has passed away at the age of 40 in Johannesburg on Monday, August 18. While the cause of death has not yet been disclosed, news of his passing has left fans and the football community in shock and mourning.

Ndoro began his professional career in 2011 with Chicken Inn in Zimbabwe, where his talent quickly attracted attention. In 2013, he moved to South African side Black Aces but was immediately loaned back to Chicken Inn for the remainder of the season. By 2014, he officially joined Black Aces, making 41 appearances and scoring 14 goals across two seasons. His performances earned him a move to Orlando Pirates in 2015, where he became known for his clinical finishing and commanding presence upfront.

Ndoro’s death marks a great loss to African football, with tributes pouring in from fans, clubs, and former teammates.
