The almost-GWR record hopeful says the experience left her more bullied offline than online, dragged into controversy with her pastor, and turned into a national meme before she eventually found healing in pursuing her passion.

Now embracing the journey as part of her “recipe of destiny,” Dammy has secured a full scholarship at HBS Lagos, supported by Horecabb Mentors and the Ekiti State Government, as she works toward her professional chef diploma.

Ironically, her comeback story is going viral just as Hilda Baci, the chef whose cook-a-thon inspired Dammy’s attempt, is preparing another record-breaking feat with the world’s largest jollof rice.
