(In Nigeria and Ghana) Koforidua Man Remanded Over Robbery and Sexual Assault of National Service Nurse

A 22-year-old man identified as Kwame has been remanded by a Koforidua court for allegedly robbing and sexually assaulting a 25-year-old National Service nurse. The victim, who rented a room in his family’s house, was lured outside under false pretences before Kwame attacked her, robbing her of over GH¢1,000.

He reportedly disguised himself, entered her room, and threatened her with a knife upon her return. After stealing the cash, he demanded a mobile money transfer, which she could not provide, before forcing her to undress and assaulting her under threat of violence.
