(In Kenya) Kalonzo Musyoka’s Meeting with Edwin Sifuna Sparks Buzz of 2027 Political Alliance

Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka has ignited speculation in Kenya after meeting Nairobi senator Edwin Sifuna at the Annual Law Society of Kenya Conference in Kwale. As political maneuvering intensifies, Sifuna, the ODM secretary general, has been acting independently, engaging with leaders beyond his party’s traditional alliances. He has openly criticized President William Ruto’s administration and pledged support for any coalition aiming to unseat him in 2027. Sifuna’s involvement in “Kenya Moja,” a new opposition faction alongside other MPs, further signals his shift from both Ruto’s allies and established opposition figures, fueling talk of fresh political alignments.
