(In Ghana) Paul Adom-Otchere Detained After OSP Summons in GACL Corruption Probe


On July 31, 2025, Paul Adom-Otchere, a prominent Ghanaian journalist and former Board Chairman of the Ghana Airports Company Limited (GACL), was detained by authorities following a summons from the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP).

 The OSP, led by Special Prosecutor Kissi Agyebeng, invited Adom-Otchere for questioning regarding his alleged involvement in a corruption-related investigation tied to a revenue assurance audit contract between GACL and EvaTex Logistics Limited.

Reports indicate that after hours of questioning, Adom-Otchere was abruptly taken into custody, and his current whereabouts remain unclear.
