Michael Owusu Afriyie, popularly known as “Teacher Kwadwo,” has been reinstated by the Ghana Education Service (GES) after his dismissal in 2021 over allegations of professional misconduct.

The comedian and teacher was previously accused of absenteeism, failure to prepare a lesson plan, and insubordination toward the District Director—claims he firmly denied. His case stirred significant public debate, with many viewing his sacking as controversial.
