Daddy Lumba, born Charles Kwadwo Fosu, passed away on July 26, 2025, at the age of 60. He died at The Bank Hospital in Cantonments, Accra, following a brief undisclosed illness. His passing has left a significant void in Ghana’s music scene, but his influence and artistry continue to resonate with generations of music lovers.
