The Men's Team Coach of the Year shortlist features some of the most successful tacticians of the 2024–25 season. Chelsea’s Enzo Maresca is among the leading candidates, having won the UEFA Conference League and the FIFA Club World Cup in his first season at Stamford Bridge after moving from Leicester City. Liverpool's Arne Slot is another strong contender, having guided the Reds to the Premier League title in his debut campaign after replacing Jurgen Klopp.

Joining them on the list are Napoli boss Antonio Conte, who brought stability and success to the Serie A side, Paris Saint-Germain's Luis Enrique, known for his tactical evolution of the team, and Hansi Flick, who led Barcelona to strong domestic and European runs. The award will be decided at the 2025 Ballon d’Or ceremony in Paris, recognizing coaching brilliance at the highest level.

The nominees for the 2025 Women's Team Coach of the Year Trophy have been revealed, showcasing managers who led their teams to significant success on the international and club stages. Sarina Wiegman, who made history by guiding England to a second consecutive European Championship title, is once again a standout nominee. Her continued dominance with the Lionesses puts her among the favorites to win.

She’s joined by Sonia Bompastor, who had an impressive debut season with Chelsea, clinching a domestic treble. Also nominated is Arsenal’s Renée Slegers, who took over mid-season and led the team to UEFA Women's Champions League glory. Other nominees include Arthur Elias and Justine Madugu, both recognized for their strong contributions to the women’s game in their respective countries.
