VeryDarkMan and Portable Ignite Nigeria with Explosive Diss Track Battle, Elizabeth Joyce Joins the Fray

LAGOS, Nigeria – Social media activist VeryDarkMan (VDM) and street-hop sensation Portable are setting Nigeria’s online scene ablaze with a fiery feud, marked by VDM’s scathing diss track “Ole” (meaning “thief”) outpacing Portable’s response. The beef erupted when VDM criticized President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration, claiming Nigerians wished Tinubu had died instead of former President Muhammadu Buhari due to ongoing economic hardships. Portable, quick to defend Tinubu, praised the president’s leadership and slammed VDM, alleging he was chasing clout. VDM retaliated by sharing a 2020 video of Portable allegedly being beaten for stealing a tricycle, taunting him with the “Ole” diss track. Portable hit back, denying the theft allegations and accusing VDM of being a “closeted clout-chaser” while questioning his NGO’s finances.
