Nigerian Star Osimhen Turns Down €30m Al Hilal Offer for Galatasaray Deal

Victor Osimhen is making waves in Global Sports because he has reportedly agreed to personal terms with Galatasaray until June 2028, signalling his commitment to remain in Europe despite a lucrative offer from Saudi club Al Hilal.

While Al Hilal met Napoli’s €75 million release clause, Osimhen rejected the move, prioritising UEFA competitions.

The final hurdle is an agreement between Galatasaray and Napoli on the transfer fee structure.

Galatasaray’s initial €55–60 million offer falls short of Napoli’s demand, but negotiations are ongoing.

Osimhen’s decision to snub Saudi riches has been widely praised, highlighting his focus on elite European football.

Al Hilal had promised him over €30 million per year and a fast-tracked medical.

However, the Nigerian striker chose loyalty to top-tier competition over money, making headlines across global sports platforms.
