Manchester United Complete £70M Deal for Bryan Mbeumo as Amorim Reshapes Attack

Manchester United have finalized a £70 million deal to sign Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford, marking a major step in Rúben Amorim’s summer rebuild. The agreement includes £65 million upfront and £6 million in performance-based add-ons, to be paid across four installments.

Mbeumo had agreed personal terms weeks earlier, having made clear his ambition to join the Red Devils. With Brentford accepting United’s payment structure, the 24-year-old becomes Amorim’s second major signing after Matheus Cunha.

His arrival has sparked widespread discussion among fans and analysts, who are eager to see how Mbeumo’s pace, creativity, and positional flexibility will fit into Amorim’s tactical system.

The big question now: Can Mbeumo provide the consistent wide threat United have lacked, and how quickly will he adapt to life at Old Trafford under the new regime?
