(In the US) Lady Liberty Covers Her Face: Mural Sparks Outrage and Debate Over Immigration Policies

Lady Liberty is making waves in The US because netizens have expressed varying reactions of grief and disappointment at a mural of The Statue of Liberty "covering her face in shame", which was unveiled in Roubaix, France, one day before America's 4th of July celebration.

The Mural titled "The Statue of Liberty's Silent Protest" was created by Dutch artist Judith de Leeuw, in criticism of President Trump's immigration policies.
