Lwemiyaga County Member of Parliament [MP's Name] has raised concerns over reports of violence and alleged voter importation during the National Resistance Movement (NRM) primaries in Sembabule District.
He condemned the emergence of a group called the “Enkoni Squad,” accused of intimidating voters.
Sekikubo also claimed there were plots to assassinate him after the primaries, naming senior military officers as masterminds and requesting armed police protection.

Sekikubo has officially petitioned the NRM Electoral Commission over alleged assassination plots, implicating Brig. Gen. Emmanuel Rwashande and Gen. Phinehas Katirima.
He links the threats to a June 26 incident where his supporter was killed and another injured, reportedly by UPDF soldiers acting on orders from senior officers.
With Sembabule District’s NRM primaries historically marred by violence and rigging, Sekikubo demands action to protect lives and restore electoral credibility.
