Advocate Dali Mpofu has strongly criticized President Cyril Ramaphosa's recent handling of Minister Senzo Mchunu’s position, arguing in court that the president's actions are unconstitutional.

Mpofu told the court that placing Mchunu on special leave and appointing Professor Firoz Cachalia to act in his stead was clearly unlawful. He contended that the President’s move lacked legal grounding and introduced unnecessary confusion into the executive process.
