(In South Africa) Malcolm X Appears in Court Over Alleged R500K Bribe Linked to High-Profile Murder Case



On Monday, July 28, Johannesburg businessman Malcolm X appeared before the Alexandra Magistrate’s Court alongside three officials from the Hawks. The group faces corruption charges for allegedly soliciting R500,000 and attempting to interfere in the case of murder suspect Katiso “KT” Molefe.



Malcolm X has denied any wrongdoing, insisting he did not interfere in Molefe’s arrest. According to him, he was acting on behalf of Molefe’s brother a client who simply wanted to verify whether an arrest warrant had been issued.
