(In South Africa) Kaizer Chiefs and Tebogo Potsane Part Ways by Mutual Consent After Two Seasons

Kaizer Chiefs have officially confirmed the immediate departure of winger Tebogo Potsane after two seasons at Naturena. The 31‑year‑old, who joined the club in July 2023 from Royal AM, leaves the club by mutual consent amid a squad overhaul ahead of the 2025/26 Betway Premiership season

Potsane's spell at Amakhosi was hampered by injuries and limited playing time. Over the two-year stay, he featured 19 times across all competitions, recording zero goals and two assists. He was notably omitted from all six pre-season friendlies, signaling his fading role in coach Nasreddine Nabi’s plans

In their statement, the club thanked him for his contributions and wished him well in future endeavours, underlining that the exit was amicable as Chiefs gear up for season preparations.

Potsane becomes the eighth player to depart Kaizer Chiefs in this transfer window, joining the likes of Ranga Chivaviro, Edson Castillo, Sabelo Radebe, Mduduzi Mdantsane, Bongani Sam, Edmilson Dove, and Yusuf Maart
