(In Kenya) 'Toxic Sugar' Scandal: Kalonzo Musyoka Slams Ruto Govt Over 'Shocking' Clearance.

Kalonzo Musyoka, the Wiper Party leader and former Vice President of Kenya, is trending online after accusing the Ruto administration of clearing a massive 25,000 metric tons of sugar declared unfit for human consumption.

He claims the consignment, which arrived at the Port of Mombasa, is being transported to a Western Kenya factory for repackaging and sale to unsuspecting citizens, calling the move dangerous and unethical.

In an additional statement, Kalonzo demanded the immediate destruction of the sugar consignment and publicly condemned the government's alleged complicity.

He questioned how a regime could place its own "reprehensible needs" above public health.

According to him, the sugar had already been flagged as unsafe at its port of origin, yet the Ruto government cleared it, sparking outrage and renewed calls for accountability.
