(In Ghana) Asawase in Shock as Man Fatally Shot in Vehicle Days After Kusasi Chief’s Murder



Tension is rising in Asawase, a constituency in Kumasi, Ghana, after a middle-aged man was shot and killed by unidentified gunmen on a motorbike. The victim, whose identity has not yet been released, was attacked while sitting in his vehicle.




Police have since cordoned off the area, and crime scene investigators are currently examining evidence as part of an ongoing investigation.



This latest incident comes just days after the fatal shooting of the Kusasi Chief of the Ashanti Region, Abdul-Malik Azenbe, deepening fears about rising violence in the region.
