These CHPS facilities, pivotal to Ghana’s primary healthcare system, aim to deliver essential medical services closer to communities, alleviating pressure on major hospitals. The government also outlined long-term goals to expand beyond 600 units, potentially reaching 2,000 compounds within four years. This initiative underscores a commitment to strengthening rural health infrastructure, ensuring equitable access to quality healthcare for all Ghanaians.
