Ghana is marking a significant milestone today, July 1st, as the country celebrates its first-ever National Day of Prayer and Thanksgiving. The initiative was spearheaded by the John Dramani Mahama administration.
The day's events, led by President Mahama, include a grand interdenominational Christian Service at the Forecourt of the State House in the morning and a Muslim Service at the Ghana National Mosque at Kanda, both in Accra.
