Australian-American Actor Julian McMahon Dies at 56 After Battle with Cancer

 


Julian McMahon, the Australian-American actor known for his work in television and film, has died at the age of 56.


He passed away on Wednesday, July 2nd, in Clearwater, Florida, following a battle with cancer. His death was confirmed by his wife, Kelly Paniagua, who described him as her “beloved husband.”

McMahon was the son of former Australian Prime Minister Sir William “Billy” McMahon, and had built a successful acting career, gaining international recognition for his roles in series such as Nip/Tuck, Charmed, and Fantastic Four.
