Alexander Isak Signals Desire to Leave Newcastle as Liverpool Lead Transfer Race

Swedish striker Alexander Isak has reportedly informed Newcastle United of his intention to explore a potential move this summer, prompting the club to reassess their attacking options.

Liverpool are currently the only club in active pursuit of Isak, having made direct contact with the player’s camp 10 days ago. However, any formal approach from the Merseyside club is expected to depend on the sale of Luis Díaz, which would create space in their forward line.

Despite earlier speculation, Chelsea are not pursuing a move for Isak and are instead prioritizing deals for Xavi Simons and Jorrel Hato. Additionally, there have been no concrete negotiations between Isak and Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal.

With Liverpool emerging as the frontrunner, Newcastle have started scouting potential replacements, preparing for the possibility of parting ways with their top scorer.
