Scott Carson Leaves Man City After Six Years and 12 Trophies Veteran goalkeeper Scott Carson will leave Manchester City this summer when his contract expires after six years with the club. Despite making only two appearances during his time at City, Carson was part of a squad that claimed 12 major trophies including the Premier League, FA Cup, and UEFA Champions League as part of their historic Treble in the 2022 to 2023 season.Carson initially joined Manchester City on loan from Derby County in 2019 and later signed a permanent deal in 2021. At 39 years old, the former England international spent most of his tenure as the third-choice goalkeeper behind Ederson and Stefan Ortega Moreno. In total, he played only 117 minutes for the club but remained a valued figure within the team. One of his few appearances included a memorable moment in May 2021 when he saved a penalty in a 4 to 3 Premier League win over Newcastle United.
