Over 4 Million Refugees Have Fled Sudan Since Conflict Began, UN Reports

 

The United Nations refugee agency announced on Tuesday that more than 4 million people have fled Sudan since the outbreak of war. UNHCR spokesperson Eujin Byun stated during a Geneva press briefing that this milestone was reached on Monday and emphasized that the scale of displacement is threatening regional and global stability.
