Juve to offer TWO unwanted stars to Man Utd in Sancho swap deal

Juventus and Manchester United are in early discussions over a potential swap deal that would see Jadon Sancho move to Serie A, with two Juventus players heading in the opposite direction. Italian outlet La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that the Turin-based club is ready to offer striker Dusan Vlahovic and midfielder Douglas Luiz as part of the package for Sancho.

Sancho, whose contract runs until 2026, is not in Manchester United’s long-term plans under new manager Ruben Amorim. After underwhelming spells at Borussia Dortmund and Chelsea on loan, United are now actively seeking a permanent solution. Meanwhile, Juventus are also looking to reshape their squad. Vlahovic, who scored 16 goals and assisted five more in 43 matches last season, is entering the final two years of his contract. The club is reluctant to meet his wage demands for a renewal and may prefer to cash in this summer.

Douglas Luiz, the Brazilian midfielder recently acquired from Aston Villa, has struggled to adapt to Italian football. Juventus see him as expendable and would be willing to let him leave if it helps land Sancho. The potential swap benefits all parties if terms can be agreed, though Sancho would likely need to accept a pay cut to join Juventus.

While Juventus are pushing to make the deal happen, both Vlahovic and Luiz would also have to agree to join United. Negotiations are ongoing, and both clubs are expected to continue talks over the coming weeks as they reshape their squads for the new season.

Jadon Sancho’s future at Manchester United remains uncertain, and Juventus are emerging as a serious contender for his signature. The Italian giants are exploring a double-player offer to tempt United into a swap deal. Their proposed offer includes striker Dusan Vlahovic and midfielder Douglas Luiz, as they aim to use squad depth to land the England winger.

Sancho had a modest return during his loan stint at Chelsea last season, scoring five goals and providing ten assists in 42 appearances across competitions. He also lifted the UEFA Conference League trophy with the London side. Despite some bright moments, he failed to fully regain the form he showed earlier in his career at Borussia Dortmund.

Dusan Vlahovic, one of Juventus’ most high-profile players, delivered 16 goals and five assists in 43 appearances last season. However, the club remains unwilling to meet his high wage demands for a contract renewal. Selling Vlahovic now would help Juventus avoid financial loss later. Luiz, signed from Aston Villa, has not adapted well to life in Serie A and is also seen as a potential departure.

Manchester United are open to offloading Sancho permanently but must evaluate whether Vlahovic and Luiz are suitable additions for Ruben Amorim’s plans. Amorim is overseeing major squad changes and may see both players as valuable assets. However, the transfer would depend on several moving pieces, including wage negotiations and player consent.

Juventus will continue efforts to convince Sancho to lower his salary demands. The move to Italy could offer Sancho a fresh start in a league where his playing style may flourish, but agreement between all parties is far from guaranteed. Talks are expected to continue into July, with both clubs eyeing a major summer reshuffle.
