Iran vows to continue strikes against Israel, US bases, military officials say

 

Iran has announced its intention to persist with its missile strikes against Israel, and it also plans to target U.S. military bases in the region in the coming days, according to senior Iranian military officials cited by Fars News Agency. The officials emphasized that the confrontation will not conclude with the limited actions carried out overnight, and they warned that Iran’s strikes will continue, describing them as “very painful and regrettable for the aggressors.” They further indicated that the conflict could escalate and spread over the coming days to all areas occupied by Israel and U.S. military facilities across the region.

The threat of a wider war comes as Iran and Israel continue targeting each other on Saturday after Israel launched its biggest-ever air offensive against its longtime foe in a bid to prevent it from developing a nuclear weapon.
