Nigerian singer Kizz Daniel shared how personal tragedies inspired his emotional song “Al-Jannah.” He revealed in a recent podcast that the deaths of his father, son, and mother-in-law moved him to write the tribute.
“Al-Jannah,” which means “paradise,” was created to honour their memories and to comfort others who are also grieving the loss of loved ones.

The singer described his late father as his best friend and noted that he deliberately used the word “friend” in the song to reflect that bond. He explained that “Al-Jannah” is not dedicated to just one person, but to all departed loved ones.
The track carries a universal message of remembrance and healing for anyone who has experienced the pain of losing someone close.
