(In Ghana) Gifty Oware's GH¢30m Fraud: AG's Damning Revelation

 

Gifty Oware is making waves again because barely three months after the politician was detained by the National Intelligence Bureau (NIB) in connection to fraudulent payments made to non-existent personnel on the National Service, Attorney General and Minister of Justice Dr. Dominic Ayine has revealed that Gifty Oware masterminded a fraudulent scheme that led to the misappropriation of over GH¢30 million in public funds.

Addressing a press conference in Accra earlier today, Dr. Ayine said the discovery is a part of an ongoing investigation by the Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL) task force into financial malfeasance at the NSA.
