(In Ghana) GH-Kobby's Girlfriend Passes Away in Pru East District After Shooting Incident

 

Yeji is making waves in Ghana because that's the capital of The Pru East District, where a man named Hayford Boateng, aka GH-Kobby, was arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of his girlfriend, identified as Phillippa Yaa Baby.

GH-Kobby, who is a popular TikToker, shot his girlfriend in the left arm after he retrieved a gun from his luxurious car to fire warning shots. The TikToker has, however, maintained that his girlfriend's shooting was accidental.

The tragic shooting of Philippa Yaa Baby, aka Shuga, occurred in Seker, a local community in Yeji, because, in the company of her boyfriend and his friends, she attended the funeral ceremony of the late traditional ruler, Mamponghene Daasebre Osei Bonsu II.

 GH-KOBBY, alongside two friends, was taken into custody on Tuesday, 10 June 2025.
