(In Ghana) Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum Declares NPP Presidential Bid for 2028

 

Ghanaian politician and current Minister for Education, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, has declared his intention to contest for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential flagbearership.

The politician who declared his intention ahead of the 2028 election stated his readiness to lead the party, pending the official opening of nominations.

Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum currently represents the Bosomtwe Constituency in the Ashanti Region on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party. 

During his tenure as Education Minister(2021- January 2025) Adutwum was known for his unannounced visits to schools in a bid for effective monitoring and supervision.
