Crimea Bridge Under Fire: Ukraine Reveals Details of Attack

 

A significant development has unfolded in global politics as Ukraine has taken responsibility for a recent explosion that damaged the Crimean Bridge. The Ukrainian side has released video evidence supporting their claim, shedding light on the incident.

Ukraine's Security Service (USB) revealed that it struck the bridge for the third time after spending months planting explosives on support structures beneath the water.

The Crimean Bridge is a pair of parallel bridges connecting Russia and the Kerch Peninsula of Crimea. 

Built by the Russian Federation after its annexation of Crimea at the start of 2014, the bridge cost ₽227.92 billion (US$3.7 billion) and has a length of 19 km (12 mi),making it the longest bridge in Europe.
