U.S. Scolds Russia for Fanning Fear of World War III After Trump’s "Playing with Fire" Remark

U.S. envoy Keith Kellogg criticized a top Russian official for escalating fears of World War III following former President Donald Trump’s warning that President Vladimir Putin is "playing with fire" over Ukraine. Trump’s statement, made on Truth Social, suggested that without his influence, Russia would have already faced dire consequences, warning that Putin’s actions could lead to "REALLY BAD" outcomes.

Russian security official Dmitry Medvedev responded sharply, warning that the "really bad thing" is actually WWIII, and urged Trump to understand the gravity of such escalation. Kellogg condemned these comments, calling them reckless and inappropriate for a world leader, emphasizing that Trump is working to prevent further conflict and advocating for a ceasefire.
