Tanzanian President Samia Urges CCM to Prioritize Integrity in 2025 Election Candidate Selection

 

Tanzanian President Samia Suluhu Hassan has called on Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) officials to prioritize diligence and integrity in the selection of candidates for the 2025 general elections

Speaking during the launch of the party’s manifesto in Dodoma, she emphasised fair vetting and unity post-nomination.

Her remarks aim to ensure competent leadership that can implement CCM’s development agenda and maintain national stability.

President Samia stressed the importance of regional accountability and transparency by directing the creation of mini-booklets outlining local achievements and goals. 

She warned against factionalism within the party, calling for collaboration across all levels. 

The newly launched CCM manifesto outlines a five-year vision focusing on inclusive growth and citizen welfare, reflecting the party’s commitment to progress and its readiness for the 2025 election campaign.
