Russia Attacks Ukraine for Third Consecutive Night, Ukrainian Authorities Report

Russia Attacks Ukraine for Third Consecutive Night, Ukrainian Authorities Report Russia launched a series of attacks on Ukraine for the third night in a row, Ukrainian officials and emergency services confirmed. The latest strikes followed the previous day’s significant aerial assault, which resulted in at least 12 fatalities and drew widespread condemnation from U.S. President Donald Trump. In Kyiv, the air raid alert lasted approximately six hours, with damage reported in one city district, though no casualties were initially reported. The surrounding Kyiv region experienced a combined drone and missile attack, causing damage in multiple districts.

In southern Ukraine’s Odesa region, Russian drone strikes caused fires and destruction in private homes, including the destruction of a residential building covering 100 square meters. A 14-year-old boy was injured in this attack. In the western Khmelnytskyi region, authorities reported damage to homes and businesses but no injuries. Northeastern Ukraine, particularly Kharkiv, was also targeted, with explosions audible and damage suspected. The Cherkasy region managed to neutralize 25 Russian drones overnight, with no reports of injuries or damage. The Kremlin did not comment on these attacks, describing its operations as part of a “special military operation” in Ukraine. The conflict continues to escalate, with ongoing threats to civilian safety across multiple regions.
