Nigerian Superstars Ayra Starr and Rema Compete for BET's Best International Act

 

Nigerian singers Ayra Starr and Rema have been nominated in the category of "Best International Act" of the event scheduled to hold at The Peacock Theater on June 9, 2025.

Ayra Starr and Rema earned nominations alongside singers from other African countries such as: Tyla from South Africa, Black Sherif from Ghana and Uncle Waffles from Swaziland.

The BET Award for Best International Act is an award given to honor the outstanding achievements of international artists from around the world every year.

Some Nigerian singer-songwriters who have been nominated for or won the Best International Act Award over the years, include: Davido, Tiwa Savage, Mr Eazi, Wizkid and Fireboy DML.
