The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) has announced an updated Current Retail Selling Price (CRSP) schedule for used motor vehicles, effective July 1, 2025.
This revised list will be used to calculate the customs value of imported vehicles.
Importers are now required to use the new schedule, which reflects market changes and aligns with stakeholder consultations to ensure fair valuation practices.

The updated CRSP was developed through industry engagement and aims to provide transparency and accuracy in customs valuation.
Effective from 1st July 2025, the new schedule replaces the previous one and applies specifically to used motor vehicles. Importers can access the complete list on the KRA website.
This change is part of broader reforms to streamline vehicle importation and enhance compliance within the automotive sector in Kenya.
